AquaVap®: warranty of sterilisation quality

presentation

The AquaVap® is designed to absorb the excessive quantity of residual water due to condensation inside containers or trays.

Humidity and water go through the base of the AquaVap® and the holes on the sides, then reach the top of the AquaVap® by capillarity, which helps re-vaporisation of the excessive water and therefore increase the quantity of steam.

The end of excessive condensate

The total excessive condensate, even in the worst conditions will be absorbed by placing an AquaVap® evaporator on each side of a tray or a container.
It is very important to place one AquaVap® evaporator on each side of your tray, to ensure it "pumps" the excessive water from the lowest point of the load.

Description

Dimensions :

  • Each AquaVap® is composed of 2 evaporators made of 8 special absorbent paper sheets contained in a strap of non particular treated paper with holes in it to help steam penetration.
Before use the 2 evaporators are packed in a paper sheet on which are printed directions for use and legal advices.

Absorption capacity

Each evaporator can absorb 1,5 time its own weight with water.
The 412 reference is made of two 60 gr. pads each, which means its absorption capacity is 180 gr. of water without re-vaporisation
The 402 reference absorption capacity is 90 gr. of water without re-vaporisation.

Absorption speed

The excessive water will go up by capillarity through the absorbent material at the approximate speed of 1 cm/min.

The end of excessive condensate!

The exceptional absorption capacity of the AquaVap® allows maintaining a good, dry, saturated steam quality, a necessary condition to obtain efficient sterilization conditions even with excessive water in containers or trays.

The AquaVap® also helps to maintain integrity of the dry sterile barrier.
