BIRTH OF THE ILY PROJEC – 2015

Faced with the physical and ergonomic constraints encountered by urologists during flexible endourology procedures (RIRS), the ILY project was initiated.
The objective was clear: to improve surgeon comfort, reduce physical fatigue, and preserve procedural precision, without changing established surgical practices.

DEVELOPPEMENT &FIRST PROTOTYPES – 2016-2017

The initial research and development phases began in close collaboration with expert urologists.
Several functional prototypes were designed to validate:
▪ telemanipulation of the flexible ureteroscope,
• ergonomics of the surgeon workstation,
• compatibility with existing clinical practices.

FIRST ROBOT MANUFACTURING – 2017

The first industrial version of the ILY robot was manufactured.
This milestone marked the transition from laboratory prototype to a system ready for technical and preclinical testing.

FIRST ROBOT TRIALS – 2017

The first trials of the ILY robot were conducted:
• Location: partner centers
• Participants: urologists and technical teams.
These tests helped optimize system precision, safety, and ergonomics prior to clinical use.

CLINICAL VALIDATION & CONTINUOUS IMPROVEMENT – 2018-2019

ILY entered the clinical validation phase, with the first procedures performed under real clinical conditions.
User feedback led to several major improvements, both hardware and software.

CE MARKING OBTAINED – JUIN 2018

The ILY robot obtained CE marking, confirming its compliance with European requirements for safety, performance, and quality.
This key milestone opened the way for commercialization in Europe and internationally.

FIRST COMMERCIAL SALES – APRIL 2022

ILY was installed for the first time in a healthcare institution in Poland, marking the beginning of its clinical deployment.

INTERNATIONAL EXPANSION

The ILY robot has progressively been adopted in multiple countries.
The installed base continues to grow through:
• new sales,
• partnerships with local distributors,
• increasing presence in expert endourology centers.

CONSOLIDATION & RECOGNITION

ILY has established itself as an innovative solution in urological robotics, with:
• a growing number of installed systems,
• presence at major international congresses (EAU, SIU, etc.),
• strengthened training programs and operating room support.

TODAY AND TOMORROW

Presence in more than 20 countries, with a clear ambition: to continue innovating, expand clinical indications, and establish ILY as a reference in endourology robotics.
